PSIC successfully conducted a hands-on metal craft workshop at the MetalCraft Artisan Village, engaging over 30 students and graduates. The workshop received an overwhelming response, highlighting strong interest in reviving traditional metal craftsmanship.
Through this initiative, PSIC connected young creative minds with Master Artisan Ustad Amjad, focusing on traditional repoussé and chasing techniques, surface detailing, and working with brass and aluminum sheets. Participants also explored heritage motifs and learned how ancient craft techniques can be adapted into modern design.
This workshop reflects PSIC’s continued commitment to preserving and revitalizing Pakistan’s craft heritage through learning, innovation, and artisan-led knowledge transfer.
