Purpose
A revolving interest-free financial support scheme designed to facilitate graduated incubates of Women Business Incubation Centers (WBICs) in Punjab. The scheme aims to support women entrepreneurs by enabling them to establish, sustain, and expand their businesses through accessible financing. It focuses on promoting women empowerment, encouraging self-employment, generating employment opportunities, and contributing to economic development in the province.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduated incubates of PSIC Women Business Incubation Centers (WBICs), including previous batches of WRC&I
- Female Pakistani, resident of Punjab as per valid CNIC
- Age between 21–55 years
- Must hold valid completion certificate issued by PSIC/WBIC
- Must be engaged in an operational business or start-up developed during incubation
- Must possess domicile of Punjab
- Must have a clean e-CIB / credit history
- Must have valid CNIC and NTN (tax filer with FBR)
- Must have own or rented business premises (for existing business)
- Must not be a defaulter of any PSIC or bank loan scheme
Loan Amount
- Up to Rs. 500,000/-
Loan Tenure / Repayment
- Up to 3 years
- Equal monthly installments
- No grace period
Processing Fee
- 2% of loan amount, to be recovered before disbursement
Security Requirements
- One personal guarantee from a regular Government employee (BS-11 or above) with:
- Minimum 3 years of service
- At least 5 years remaining service
- One employee can guarantee only one active loan at a time
- Two blank undated signed cheques from borrower
Impact
- Approx. 143 direct beneficiaries
- Around 300 beneficiaries through revolving fund mechanism
- Rs. 50 million fund to support women-led enterprises
- Strengthening of women entrepreneurship and financial inclusion in Punjab
- Promotion of start-ups and business expansion by WBIC graduates
- Generation of employment opportunities through women-led businesses
