The 130th Board Meeting of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) was convened under the chairmanship of the Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment Department (IC&ID) along with the Secretary Industries, board members, the Managing Director PSIC, and all concerned directors.
The meeting began with a review of the implementation status of decisions made during the previous (129th) board meeting. The board discussed progress on the restoration of canceled plots, with updates on actions taken in response to the opportunity previously granted for reinstatement. A new auction schedule was also presented for approval. In addition, specific requests for the restoration of individual canceled plots were placed before the board for consideration.
Further, the board approved the formation of the BOM of SIE Kasur and the RD Office in Gujrat. The board decided that PSIC would execute lease agreements only on state-owned land. A revision in the stipend for internees under the internship program also got approved. Other key matters included finalizing the status of a long-pending land and building transfer case.
