As part of the continuous progress review for the Revamping of Gandhara Art Village, MD PSIC, Ms. Saira Omar, accompanied by RD Rawalpindi, Mr. Saleem Arshad visited the site to inspect the ongoing development works. The visit covered the progress in line of restoration of traditional architecture, improvement of artisans’ workshops, enhancement of visitor facilities, and the establishment of display areas to promote Gandhara heritage. MD complemented Regional Director Rawalpindi on the fast progress and emphasized the need for timely completion, quality workmanship, and alignment of the project with cultural tourism objectives.
Following this, MD along with the RD RWP visited the Industrial Estate, Taxila, where the RD briefed the MD on existing industrial units, infrastructure facilities, road networks, and waste management within the estate.
