The Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC), in collaboration with the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), successfully organized an Awareness Seminar on the Chief Minister Punjab Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme (Phase-II).
The session aimed to create awareness among entrepreneurs, industrialists, and small business owners regarding the financing opportunities being offered under Phase-II of the CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme — a flagship initiative of the Government of Punjab to promote entrepreneurship, boost employment, and ensure inclusive economic growth across the province.
Under this initiative, the Government of Punjab is disbursing Rs. 90 billion across the province to facilitate easy access to finance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The scheme has been structured to cover the North, Central, and South Regions, with a dedicated focus on the Export Sector to further enhance Punjab’s industrial competitiveness.
Representatives from PSIC briefed participants on the scheme’s salient features, including interest-free financing, simple application procedures, and priority support for youth, women, and existing small businesses. The seminar provided an opportunity for the business community of Sialkot — a major export and industrial hub — to understand how the scheme can support business expansion, innovation, and job creation.
The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry appreciated the Government of Punjab and PSIC for taking this progressive step and reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with PSIC to ensure maximum benefit to the local business community.
