Objectives
- To relocate polluting tanneries in the City of Sialkot to a dedicated industrial zone (STZ)
- To provide adequate support to infrastructure through the following manners:
- To provide financial support to STAGL/Sialkot Tannery Zone (STZ), in connection with the establishment of a Grid station through the funds provided by the Government of Punjab under this scheme
- To provide financial support to SATGL/Sialkot Tannery Zone (STZ), in connection with the Sui Gas facility through the funds provided by the Government of Punjab under this scheme
- To provide financial support to STAGL/Sialkot Tannery Zone (STZ), in connection with the establishment of a Chrome Recovery Plant (CRP)
- To facilitate tanneries around Sialkot by providing loan facilities for establishing their units/tanneries in the Sialkot Tannery Zone (STZ).
- To facilitate Sialkot Tannery Zone, to make it operational and functional, in any other manner subject to availability and provision of additional funds by the Government of Punjab.
